Kathy & Tom Welch

President/Director

Kathy will forever be David’s mom. After David died by suicide it has become her goal to make something positive out of the devastation and carry on with a purpose that would honor David by helping others in tangible ways to succeed towards their goals and live happy, productive lives. Tom was David’s step dad and enjoyed discussing physics and complicated math problems with David and listening to him play guitar and drums.

Mike Sliff

Treasurer/Director

Mike is David’s brother and a Nurse Anesthetist with UCLA. He has been committed to helping others for many years since serving as an Emergency Department nurse who has worked in trauma centers and at community based hospitals. Mike is accustomed to helping stabilize patients who suffer from mental health challenges and will continue to support this foundation with the same kind of commitment.

Morgan Sliff

Secretary/Director

Morgan is David’s sister. The ocean is Morgan’s calling as she has devoted her life to helping others through ocean therapy and being involved in many organizations and causes which promote environmental sustainability. Morgan is committed to helping others achieve their goals for life success and does this in many ways through her career as a director with E-Forms and surfing enthusiast. From these life experiences, she brings the same passion to her brother’s foundation.

Jim Sliff

Jim is David’s Dad and helped him develop his love for music and playing different instruments. Jim always had a new gadget for David to try out and was great at letting David borrow his equipment for recording and developing his music.
